You need to create groups for group work, but manually assigning pupils takes time. Kredits Grouper generates groups in seconds with your choice of constraints.
How to do it
Open Kredits Grouper
Sign in to Kredits and go to the Grouper app from the Hub or the sidebar.
Load your class (if not already loaded)
Pick a saved class from Class Editor, or paste a one-off list of names if you just need a quick grouping.
Choose group size
Switch between "students per group" and "number of groups" — Grouper balances the remainder across groups automatically.
Select constraints
Turn on Mixed Gender, Avoid Adjacency, Keep Apart or Keep Together rules depending on what the activity needs.
Click "Generate Groups" and review
Grouper tries multiple arrangements automatically and flags any constraint it couldn't fully satisfy.
Save, or regenerate for a different arrangement
Save the arrangement to avoid repeats next time, or hit Regenerate to shuffle again and display it to the class.
Best practices
Use "Keep Apart" for behaviour management; use "Mixed Gender" or a fresh shuffle for peer learning.
Generate multiple times until you're happy with the arrangement — each attempt is checked for uniqueness.
Save an arrangement once you're happy with it so Grouper avoids repeating the same groups next time.
Set up Keep Apart / Keep Together pairs in Class Editor first so Grouper can honour them automatically.
