Practise on Your Own with a Free Kredits Account
Studying science on your own, at home or with a tutor? You can make a free Kredits account if you are 13 or over. You get practice questions from the topics you choose (CCEA GCSE and A-level Physics and Chemistry, and KS3 Science), your own Kredits Konfidence, and all the Kredits escape rooms. No name, email or password needed.
How to do it
-
Create your account
Go to kredits.co.uk/learn. Tick to say you are 13 or over and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, then press Create my account. If your school uses Kredits, ask your teacher for a Kredits Pass instead.
-
Save your Kredits Pass
Kredits gives you a Kredits Pass: the code you sign in with. Copy it, save it as a file, or write it down, then tick I’ve saved my Kredits Pass. Without it you can’t get back in.
-
Say whose device it is
Choose Mine to stay signed in on your own device, or Shared to be signed out when you close the browser.
-
Add an email address
On My Kredits, under Your account, add an email address. Then if you lose your pass you can get a new code at Lost your pass? on the sign-in page.
-
Choose your topics
Press Change your topics. Choose your course (and Higher or Foundation; for A-level you can add GCSE warm-up questions), tick the topics you’re studying or have covered, and press Save.
-
Practise
Under Your practice, press Practise. Kredits mixes questions from your topics, more from the ones you need most, and your Konfidence goes up as you get them right. Knowledge cards (flashcards and Quiz me) are there for physics and chemistry.
-
Your data
Under Your account you can Download my data or Delete my account at any time.
Best practices
- Only tick topics you’ve met: Kredits works best as practice, not as first teaching.
- Update your topics as you cover more of the course.
- Tutors can link learners to their own classes with a Kredits tutoring account (paid): email hello@kredits.co.uk.
