Give Pupils a Kredits Pass to Practise at Home

A Kredits Pass is a pupil’s own sign-in: a code, printed with a QR code, that works for all their classes. With it they can practise their class’s topics at home and see their own Konfidence, with no email or password. It is a Kredits Pro feature. (A Kredits Pass is not the same as Kredits QR cards, the numbered cards you scan for points and homework.)

How to do it
  1. Open Kredits Passes
In Kredits, go to Games and choose the Kredits Pass tile (Make passes →), then choose a class.
  2. Make passes for everyone
Press Make passes for everyone. Every pupil without a pass gets one. Each row then says Pass made here, Linked with their pass or No pass yet.
  3. Print and hand them out
Press Print passes for a sheet of passes to cut up, or Print on one row for a single pass. Each shows the pupil’s name, code and a QR code.
  4. Pupils sign in
Pupils scan the QR code, or go to kredits.co.uk/signin and type the code. They choose whether the device is their own or shared, and land on My Kredits.
  5. Choose the class’s topics
Pupils practise the topics you have saved for the class in Retrieval, so keep them up to date as you teach.
  6. Pupils with a pass from another teacher
A pupil only ever needs one pass. If they already have one, press Link their pass on their row and type their code. Or share the class’s Class code: pupils sign in, go to kredits.co.uk/me, type the code and tap their name. You can undo a wrong one with Unlink. Passes can only be linked between teachers in the same Kredits school.
  7. A lost pass
Press New pass on the pupil’s row. The old code stops working for every class they are in, and anyone signed in with it is signed out within the hour.
