Cold-calling the same few hands every lesson isn't fair, and a paper lolly-stick jar gets lost. Kredits Picker gives you four ways to pick a student at random, built for the projector.
How to do it
Open Kredits Picker
Sign in to Kredits and go to the Picker app from the Hub or the sidebar.
Select your class
Choose the class you want to pick from — its roster loads into whichever mode you're using.
Choose a picker mode
Switch between Spotlight, Wheel, Slot Machine, and Card Flip using the tabs at the top.
Hit Pick
Click the Pick button — or just press the spacebar on desktop — to randomly select a student.
Avoid repeats
Picked students collect in a list so you can see who's already had a turn — use Reset to start fresh.
Project it full screen
Put the tab on the projector — Spotlight and Wheel especially are built to be seen from across the room.
Best practices
Use Spotlight for quick cold-calling and Wheel or Slot Machine when you want a bit more drama for the class.
Reset the picked list at the start of each lesson so everyone gets a fair chance again.
Use the spacebar shortcut to keep momentum going without reaching for the mouse.
Card Flip works well for pairing activities — flip twice to pick a duo.
