Check Questions and Knowledge Cards as a Kredits Reviewer

Kredits only serves a question on a course if it tests that course’s learning outcomes, and pupils only see a knowledge card once a person has approved it. Reviewers are teachers who help check both. If you would like to be a reviewer, email hello@kredits.co.uk with your Kredits teacher code.

How to do it
  1. Sign in to Kredits first
Sign in to Kredits as yourself, then open kredits.co.uk/admin/tags/ (questions) or kredits.co.uk/admin/cards/ (knowledge cards). If your account isn’t a reviewer yet, the page shows your account code to send to hello@kredits.co.uk.
  2. Spec tags: choose what to check
Choose Physics or Chemistry, then a list: Drafts, least sure first, All questions, Checked or Single Award suggestions. Filter by room if you like.
  3. Tick the outcomes it tests
Each question shows its draft learning outcomes. Tick the ones the question really tests and untick any it doesn’t. Mark it Higher only or not in Double Award if so.
  4. Check the Single Award part
A GCSE question also has a Single Award part. Suggested Single Award outcomes come pre-ticked, so check them, or choose Not in Single Award. Only tick an outcome if a Single Award pupil would have been taught everything the question asks.
  5. Confirm
Press Confirm. Once confirmed, your ticks alone decide which courses and tiers the question is served in, and your name shows as the checker.
  6. Knowledge cards: check each card
On the knowledge cards page, choose To check. Read each card’s front and back against the specification. Click the front or back to correct it.
  7. Approve or reject
Press Approve to let pupils see it, or Reject to keep it from pupils. Corrections take effect straight away. Approve all shown approves every card in the list, so only use it once you’ve read them all.
